The memory of the people who started this journey also helps tell who we are.
The Franco Gilberti Foundation is a charitable legal entity with social and educational purposes, dedicated to the defense, protection and promotion of social assistance for newborns, children, adolescents and young people in vulnerable situations.
Its institutional identity emerged from direct contact with severe human realities and grew around a clear conviction: people need care that is patient, humane and oriented toward a real future.
The school's identity reinforces the link between the Foundation, the territory and the educational project.
Since 1988, the Foundation has developed an intense social assistance path, building practical and pedagogical experience through shelter, reintegration work and long-term support for thousands of children, adolescents and young people.
Over time, this work became known for a humanized approach rooted in family, education and work, responding to situations marked by street life, violence, family breakdown and lack of opportunity.
The physical space communicates care for reception, identity and institutional continuity.
In a new stage of its mission, the Foundation also began investing in the schooling of rural youth living around Fazenda A Partilha in Pojuca, helping create the Escola Técnica Família Agrícola A Partilha.
This educational front was shaped through dialogue with Bahia's Escola Família Agrícola network, linked to AECOFABA, and by the understanding that rural youth need a formation connected to their own land, community and productive reality.
Education gains meaning when collective experience, coexistence and territory come together.
